The story of Aurora Peat Products is one rooted in a legacy of excellence established by Alaska Peat, formerly known as Lakeland Peat Moss. Founded in 2001, Alaska Peat garnered a reputation for providing top-quality peat products while maintaining a strong commitment to environmental stewardship. In 2015, the company was acquired by Aurora Innovations and rebranded as Aurora peat products. In 2021 Hydrofarm, a publicly traded company, added Aurora Innovations to it's portfolio and Aurora Peat Products is proud to call itself a Hydrofarm Brand.

 

Today, Aurora Peat Products stands as a beacon of excellence in the peat industry, with a team of dedicated professionals committed to quality, sustainability, and customer service. Located just 100 kilometers northwest of Edmonton, Alberta, our peat resources are carefully managed to ensure minimal impact on the environment while delivering superior products to our customers.
